2012 Highlights…
December 28, 2012 7:29 pm
What a year 2012 has been! I am just so thankful that I get to do what I do… photograph some beautiful peeps! My favorite is catching the silly smile that shy little boy gave. Or, the outrageous laughter of that sweet girl. Or, the knowing, proud, and loving eyes of mom and dad engaging their precious children. Or, the moments when the Senior relaxes in front of my camera. All these things are why I love what I do!
And, I’m so excited for the new year to come! Getting to catch more of these precious moments on film.
So, I thank you, dear friends. For trusting me to capture your memories and the people you hold most dear in your life. I put together a little highlight reel of some of my faves from this past year! Hope you enjoy…
And, stay tuned… for a little special I will be running for January. Deets to come very soon!
Sweet Senior. {Snohomish and King County, WA Senior Photographer}

I truly love meeting and photographing Seniors in High School… and this gal… Well, Rene was as sweet as could be! I had the privilege of photographing her and her boyfriend, Aden a couple of weeks ago and they are such fun together! Aden tagged along for Rene’s Senior session as well and I was thankful I had him there to help me hold the reflector.
Rene will be graduating from Lake Stevens High School Spring of 2013 and she has the world in front of her! Her passions are playing golf and dancing in a local Hula group at the Hokulani’s Hawaiian Studio {which we had to incorporate into her shoot}. This girl is beautiful inside and out!
Rene, best wishes to you as you launch into your Senior year! Enjoy your sneak peek…
Wow… i think this is my third blog post this week. That might be a record for me!
I just wanted to send out a quick reminder to ANYONE who might be interested in booking a family portrait session OR a senior portrait session, to contact me soon to be put on the schedule. I am currently looking at my calendar and realizing that the Fall season is quickly approaching {I’m not ready for that yet! I am a tried and true Summer girl!}.
Anywho, I am currently booking for the month of September and the beginning part of October… A GREAT time to do your family portraits! Early Fall is such a beautiful time because the weather is so nice still, with just a touch of crispness in the air! A great time to break out those stylin Autumn outfits for you and your family and get together with the ones you love to capture something timeless!
And, if you need a little convincing on why you should book a family session now or a little about what I offer in your own custom family portrait experience, check out a recent post I wrote HERE!
And, a reminder that once mid-October hits, I will be taking a little break… to finish a very special project I’ve been workin on… the birth of our third child, due at the end of November! But, don’t worry, I will be back into the swing of things again come the following Spring {Spring 2013} after my maternity leave.
So, don’t delay! Call me. Email me. NOW! To begin talking about YOUR special family portrait session.
And, as a thank-you to SO many returning clients {which I LOVE to see again and again}, I currently offer a little discount off of your next portrait session! Some of you may have seen this coupon before if you have already had your session this year. I include this coupon as part of my packaging of orders.
**See coupon below or contact me for details.
Happy Friday, dear friends!
Chandler ~ Cedarcrest H.S. Class of 2012 {Snohomish and King County, WA Senior Photographer}
April 26, 2012 3:37 pm
I met up with this Senior beauty on Monday, when we had glorious sunshine and not pouring rain. Such a sweet girl she is and her family as well! We chatted it up and I enjoyed walking around DT Monroe, to the river, and the train tracks right before the sun went down. Chandler attends Cedarcrest High School in Duvall and she plans on going to beauty school nearby. Such a bright future she has ahead of her! I wish her many blessings!
Chandler brought this special bear along with her. It belonged to her Grandmother who passed away when she was just five years old. Such a sweet sentiment to include with her in her Senior photos.
Zach ~ Cedarcrest H.S. Class of 2012 {Snohomish and King County, WA Senior photographer}
April 17, 2012 7:21 pm
I spent Saturday evening with this young man, making our way through the small town of Duvall for some Senior shots. I had the privilege of photographing his other brother last year and I had his younger sister in my class several years ago when I taught first grade in Carnation. Such a wonderful family! And, wow, do I feel old, because I DO remember Zach as a 5th grader walking the halls of the elementary school when I was a teacher.
Zach is off to Bellevue College in the Fall and I know he will do great things! Best of luck to you, Zach and to your bright future!

I met up with sweet Hayley and her mom last weekend for her Senior Session. We hit up the local park and then headed into town to grab some shots on the train tracks… just as the beautiful summer light was going down.
Hayley definitely had a vision for her session and I LOVE that! Hayley and her mom brought some balloons and had ideas about using different backdrops and posing throughout her shoot. She has such a creative eye, when it comes to photography, as taking pictures is something she enjoys doing!
I am so excited for Hayley’s future as we chatted about some of her dreams and passions.
All the best to you, Hayley! Enjoy your sneak peek…

You’re off to Great Places!
Today is your day!
Your mountain is waiting,
So… get on your way!
~Dr. Seuss {Oh, the Places You’ll Go!}
This young man is going places. He comes from a super family… Jeff and I were Young Life leaders when his older brother was in high school and I was his younger brother’s First grade teacher {back in the day}. And, here… Collin fits nicely in the middle.
He enjoys gaming on his laptop, soccer, and quad riding. So polite and friendly, I can tell he is going to be successful in whatever he chooses to do.
Collin, your future is looking bright. Best wishes to you!
Enjoy your sneak peek… and remember, he will receive a FREE 5×7 with his print order, if he receives 10 comments under this blog posting.
Drew ~ Cedarcrest H.S. Class of 2011 {Carnation, WA Senior Photographer}
May 3, 2011 7:15 pm
I enjoyed getting to photograph another Senior this past weekend, down in the little town of Carnation. Drew did GREAT in front of the camera and had the utmost patience with me, as we walked to and from different spots to photograph him in. We enjoyed having his family there as well, to keep up the sincere smiles {especially, with his little sister cracking Drew up}! Drew is off to Whitworth University in the Fall, and I enjoyed hearing that both of his parents also attended there as well!
Drew, I wish you the best of luck next year and a very happy graduation to you in a month from Cedarcrest H.S. as well!
Enjoy your sneak peek!
**This family will receive a FREE 5×7 print with their print order if they receive 10 comments under this blog posting, so show the love!
Sydney ~ Cedarcrest H.S. Class of 2011 {Duvall, WA Senior photographer}
April 30, 2011 9:52 pm
I had the privilege of hanging out and photographing Miss Sydney, along with her entourage {her mom and sis} last Saturday! I am telling you, we have been lucking out on the weather on the days that I have photo shoots! It has been rain all week, but when I go out with these Senior lovelies, the sun is a-shinin! We got some beautiful light for this session, along with a lovely girl!
Sydney, best of luck to you in your future endeavors! So excited for what the future holds for you!
**This family will receive a FREE 5×7 print, if they receive 10 comments under this blog posting.
