Newlyweds {Snohomish and King County couples photographer}

SUCH a sweet couple I met up with a couple of weeks back. Cody was my student teacher during my last year of teaching {when I was pregnant with Ben} and she ended up taking over my classroom, as I began my “stay at home mamma” career. She has such a passion for her students and now, for her new husband. I got to meet Kyle for the first time during our session and I was thoroughly impressed. They make such a dynamic pair.

I couldn’t be more happy for them and the start of their new life together.

Cody and Kyle, I hope you enjoy your images of your love and I am so excited for this new adventure you are embarking upon together!

Char and Brian | wedding {Snohomish and King County couples photographer}

Part II of Char and Brian’s special day… If you missed their engagement session by the river, check it out HERE.

I joined this beautiful family this past sunny and warm Saturday to photograph their small home wedding. The day was not only a celebration of Char and Brian joining in marriage, but also a large family reunion as well.

It was nice to have Jeff with me… He was a great assistant to me during family portraits and also acted as Brian and Char’s officiant. Fun to see him up there marrying a happy couple=)

Char and Brian | engagement {King and Snohomish County couples photographer}

Char contacted me a couple of weeks back to ask if I could photograph her wedding held this past weekend. I typically don’t specialize in weddings, but after chatting a bit about what Char was wanting and since it was held outdoors, I said yes and we made our plans. One of Char’s requests was to meet before hand for some nice casual pictures of Brian and herself… and, their beloved dog, Luna. We had lots of fun at the river for their engagement session and Luna ran and ran!

Every time Brian and Char would get close, Luna was there to cuddle in also. Such a fun dog! And, I love that they wanted her included in many of their images, as we all know a pet is truly part of the family. {I know that is the case at our house, since presently, even as a I type, our 85 lb. yellow lab is fast asleep on the couch behind me}.
